Is Bowlsome suitable for dogs with kidney or bladder stones?Updated 14 days ago
Bowlsome dog food is not designed for dietary-specific conditions. We always recommend checking the ingredient list on our website and discussing it with your vet to ensure it suits your dog’s individual needs.
Our range is:
- Hypoallergenic
- Preservative-free
- Fresh and gently cooked (unlike many tinned foods, which are cooked at very high temperatures)
Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide veterinary or health advice, as correct guidance requires a detailed history and examination from a qualified vet. However, generally, dogs with stones should avoid excess intake of certain nutrients and benefit from increased hydration. After reviewing your dog’s case, your vet may recommend wet food, such as our Bowls slow cooked casserole or rehydrated Bobs freeze dried meatballs to help support hydration.
You may also like to look at:
- Chicken Bowls
- Bug Bowl (a novel protein that may also help with some skin conditions)
If your vet would like more information about our ingredients, please let me know and we’d be happy to share full details with them.
